The Straight Choice website has added a new section for independents. The live database of political leaflets aims to keep parties and candidates honest

Leaflets uploaded to The Straight Choice are being syndicated by the Guardian, providing exposure to campaigns, thus making The Straight Choice a good way to create extra advertising and assisting transparency.

If a candidate needs a helping hand in designing effective election literature, there are many examples on The Straight Choice.

All that is needed is a photo of a single leaflet in a JPEG file.  If a leaflet is two sides or more, multiple images can be added. Simply click on the add a leaflet tag on The Straight Choice website.

Mark each leaflet with the postcode (or postcode district) it was delivered to. When sending by post please ensure your name and address has been obscured by marker pen.

Candidates endorsed by the Independent Network can also add their literature to the IN Facebook page for further exposure.
