Historically the Parish of Dartford was renowned for looking after its people so well that when the sore disease hit the Parish in 1740 the community was mobilized in solidarity to combat the disease preventing an outbreak. What happened to the solidarity, cohesion and identity of our community now? History is right we must not forget the good old days, we must lean back and bring forward the past knowledge into the 21st century and at the same time thank our elderly for contributing so long and so hard for our own enjoyment. Together we can beat the current economic hardship just as we did in 1740 against the plague. We need an independent mind with immediate, tough, bold and robust actions and also with a set of long term priorities to model the economic and social development of the area to suit the residents.
1. Encourage community projects for neighbourhood Cohesion, Safety and Respect
2. Bring back jobs, investors and long term economic growth to Dartford
3. Get our elderly and disabled out of social isolation, poverty and deprivation.
4. Improve efficiency and accountability in running local institutions.
5. Stop bureaucracy, wastage and the rise of local Council Tax
6. Campaign for efficient household energy consumption to reduce energy bills.
1. Campaign against Gender Inequality and Male Domination
2. Greener regeneration of Dartford, job creation and economic growth
3. Better resident say in decision making concerning our community.
4. Campaign for the best Transport links and Transport Policies for Dartford
5. Encourage family bond, birth growth and better maternity care
6. Encourage integration, tolerance and diversity in our community
