Biography

Paul Edwards has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years after serving in the army with the Royal Engineers and in Northern Ireland, Germany and the Falkland Islands.

He is currently the leader of the Independent Group on Cheshire East Council, and a Middlewich Town Councillor, previously on Congleton Borough Council. He is also the Chair of  the Overview and Scrutiny Forum for the North West Region.

Main Issues

Paul’s priority policies include: more investment to create local jobs, improving public transport, working with police over local priorities, and further investment in primary and secondary education.
